The Twelve Pathways- Philosophy

Philosophy



Predominant Virtues:


A balanced and reasoning perspective, one which is flexible enough to follow the choreography of divine thought, whilst sane enough to be able to refer inwardly as well and thus discriminate into the bargain. 

There is a virtue in being able to retain one’s sense of arterial selfhood whilst at the same time reaching an objectivity which is both practical and creative. It is the balance of the both, and the virtue to this becomes enlightened reason. - i.e. a receptivity and attraction to a reasoning which comes from a higher source yet to that of our own.

Flaws by deficit in the extreme:
  • Madness

  • Megalomania

  • Inflexibility

  • Distorted perspective on self & the world

  • Contentious to reality/ies

  • Aggressiveness without cause


Minor concerns related:
  • Irrational argumentativeness
  • Self-ambitious without extending such ambition to others
  • Self-opinionated and fearfully reacting to ideas of others

  • Exaggerated and constant reaffirmation of ideas of self to others

  • Inability to play chess

  • Inability to appreciate humor

  • Fixation with collecting
