Me, Myself & I- 12

Religious Studies offer us a much needed fellowship - protective and sagacious, by which we invite into our inner world the company of solid souls, that with courage and constancy have upheld the vision for Humanity.

We find that the tender side to a man becomes exposed by his associations in the exoteric church. There is a dual reality presenting whereby he is enstrengthened at the prospects of his developing Christianity, but all too aware of the hardships about him in the world. The inner life begs contrast, and the sufferings of Humanity are (as if all-at-once) beset upon his troubled consciousness. He begins to know the weight of the world and is little relieved of it.

When we approach an esoteric understanding with an exoteric form of consideration we will be blocked from being afforded the esoteric supplication which would ordinarily apply. Sadly there is much materialism which thwarts the struggling mentality from even glimpsing the possibilities beyond the immediate and material world.

There has been a saying used (and this is quoting out of context, and we apologize) that: The esoteric shall become exoteric, and the exoteric shall become esoteric. The original meaning to this was trying to imply with a measure of reality that the inner knowledge would be revealed and made apparent and that the outer world will become spiritually transformed. As far as it goes well and good. However on the other hand, we do maintain very strongly that there are distinctions that can be made in both areas, and there will be concerns arising from the mixing of the two or the premature attempt to come to esotericism with an unequal development.

Now, this is not to dissuade the souls who attend the Church service from doing so until they have a capacity for further insight. In this instance we would encourage the individual churches within the modern societies to bring back the spirituality that they have so terribly forsaken along the 'human path' of the 'common man' - bereft of the supersensible.

There is a responsibility amongst those institutions to give forth what they do not at present fulfil. Their signposts are misleading to the hopefuls that attend, their priests are empty and suffer too the condition which was entered into above. If they do not have a bean of understanding here they shall confine the highest teachings to the lowliest of form, and whilst folk may argue that the presentation of Christ was just that, we would say that he profoundly displayed otherwise. It is dangerous to enter into the esoteric and then deny it accordingly - to profess a spirituality and at the same time defeat it by a superstitious rendering of the invisible worlds about. The attitude is blocked. This is the canker of the Church today.

The dilemma here is apparent. So far, with ten of the twelve subjects we have cautioned against esotericism becoming further developed within an individual who has not, as yet, obtained some comprehension for the subjects above. Our grief therefore with the Religious Houses at present must be weighed against the propriety required here as well. However, even an ‘exoteric’ and visible church as is Peter’s needs be honourably representative to that which it maintains it is.

What we are saying is, that there need not be specific instruction into the esoteric sciences on offer there amongst the traditional worship, but there does necessarily need to be a healthy respect that does not negate the supersensible existences and all of the miracles within and without. The individual can then go inwardly and discover for himself those spiritual truths he needs to decipher. But this will be very much blocked from him if the elementals of doubt, superstition and materialism are entertained within the faith.

The goodwill, the psychological sciences, the fellowship and the humanitarian projects (including prayer in this) are all wonderful and noble practices. However, the individuals within are at risk of becoming so waylaid with the effect of the great sadness which is about them, that they shall be scored and depressed out from the faith which would and should be their greatest deliverer.

Religious Studies offer man his true Humanity. We are supported by the highest and noblest of souls, who are drawn to us - whether living or deceased, either of Man or of his family - and we are blessed in the comprehension of the Kingdom of Heaven becoming within this World.

Me, Myself & I- 11

Medicine is the answer to a need; it becomes that corrective, that nourishment, that restorative, that specific which is perfect to the wanting.
If we can but understand the nature of this we have already come to Grace and seen her majesty. As the foremost handmaiden to Christ she tends to soul and form with such supplication that is not only required, but also most longed for.

The rain can become medicine to the drought. It might not have been, but then it can be. Do you follow? When you administer to a need within another, and that timing proves the kindness to be so useful that its value is far greater because the need proclaimed it as such… then you have medicine!

An occultist who has not the care and concern for others will rapidly perceive the outer Cosmos as chaotic. Herein lies the view that Creation is without wisdom or divinity, and that evil and good are merely happy parallels within existence.

Conversely, this view may also be promoted by a very real illness residing within their constitution, by which in sensing the organic disarray, the consciousness mirrors the sadness without.

This of course makes it more difficult to address the physical malady also. Although, it should be said whilst going down this pathway of thought, that the body’s insubstantiality is firstly a problem of this period within the world; it is not indicative of our greatness or gravity majestic to the soul of Man. This is not to say that we do not affect our bodies markedly during the course of our life in who we are and by what we do, however at present all physicality is an unstable material which requires much more etheric fulfillment to be maintained effectively.

For the student who has developed a sound understanding of medicine he will find Christ in the ordinary as well as the sublime. Wherever there is a need there is Christ. As Public Defender Number One, He is there in every empty space, in chambers dark, or overgrown; He will be there until sure that the danger for that soul has long gone, and peace has returned, for in this He is the medicine for all.

The Therapies require and promote true optimism! Once again the imaginative forces are employed, as the therapist intuits the conditions about them which are begging for their assistance.

A therapist realizes at the outset that cooperation is everything. It is this symbiotic synergy of cooperation which shall go on to develop in relationship to all beings further on, alongside a growing comprehension of the Holy Spirit and its actions therein in between.
The Holy Spirit is drawn by a conjuncture of a cooperating two. Where there are two forces which meet (usually to a purpose we might add), there will come the Holy Spirit to further enliven the envisioned task desired.

For the student who has not this comprehension there becomes such a negativity as does promote the death forces as they rampage the world. There is truth to say that they exist, and to the sensitive there is a hardship in the realization of such, however, for some there is an exaggerated experience which is unbalanced and destructive that cordons them off from the very wonderful life forces which abound.

Anti-therapeutic endeavors which invite death (death to the consciousness for example via narcotic ingestion) dismiss the overall comprehension of the cooperative nature of Life.

The gift of this study is one of true ‘spirit’ (spunk!) - vivacity and optimism. These characteristic traits may be extremely useful to the adept at those trying times which will definitely waylay him, and so not only a blessing to all in the short-term exchange, but also a cherishable quality to sequester away for future days.

Me, Myself & I- 10

The Mystical Language -

Language itself is not only a configuration of meaning but also a host of beings particular to each and every naming.

These beings are living entities who are conjured before us when provoked by a thought; eager to be expelled through the issue of a spoken word.

Some beings over time have been enlivened considerably and it is the ancient verbiage which will appeal best to incantations and ‘tongue-talk’ (the semi-conscious raving given to the experience of those antique ramblings taken to be in holy ecstasy - a condition where the words talk through the man, and not he through them).

Formerly each word contained the reality of its source. The names conveyed a meaning, bore a picture of the sensing of that which it was representative to ... and today, even to some degree, that parent source remains. However it lives amongst the ether and memory contained now in the body of a being as well.

For the esoteric student to lovingly connect with certain passages or phrases, mantras or meditations, verses or even the singular word, he may firstly learn to ‘sense’ the reality just by coming (in repetition) to its composure.

Not only is he associate to the originator and all of its contemplatives since, he has born within him a new receptivity and a relationship to that being of meaning he may take into his comprehension should he so choose.

Verbosity is both an art and a skill. It requires the imaginative attunement to begin the correlation between thought-beings, word-beings and concepts, and the practice of will in the repetition of the effort and understanding.

Modern language harvests the freshest of beings, who given to the persuasion of impressions are more recondite to their purpose. The etymology of modern speech can be confusing when we discover that certain derivatives have so altered in meaning as to be used with an entirely different orientation. The word can be divorced from its origin, so severed when it is expressed in a dual capacity. This applies to holy names which are issued with blasphemous intent. Once again the power and the reality, the essence and the characteristic of the meaning incorporated in that very word is made transversed.

Now, importantly there is a prime correlation between speech and the dynamic of thinking. Words may in themselves effectively teach a man to think and explain their natures to him. Yet, this faculty of process can become splintered when the individual runs through the counter process of consciously correcting themselves and mismanaging the words in relation to the corresponding thought - therefore ‘lying’.

If we divorce our reasoning from our words, then it becomes that the words no longer shall stimulate the reasoning. If the student enters into a living correspondence with the words which he uses consciously and thoughtfully then the verbiage itself may come in part to teach him. There is a living relationship between himself and the words so spoken from him.

The disassociation between words and thought does not necessarily begin with deceit or malintent. It can involve a lacking of consciousness connective to the words so used, with catch phrases and lazy thinking which of themselves become equally as deleterious.

When a holy name is given in angst we are inwardly jolted by the astounding bi-polar reality it has caused. The very ‘power’ of the blasphemy is cheaply won and does lie in the lie - in the corpus mundane - in the actuality being provoked and then so sharply dismissed. Eventually such a sad habit will once again bring about the severance and death within the man to his very life-thought, for he is separating himself, lacking a correspondence which flows from truth to heart to mind to thought to word.

The esotericist who values his language and entertains each being as a demi-divinity of great property and offering, shall by sincerity sharpen his perception and insight into those mysteries he would come to know. On the other hand, for the student who cannot ‘live’ their very words, but rests at a distance behind them and is disconnected, he will possibly look to the power of the archaic language and find more substance within the singular invocation, but shall not come to the many voiced passages of verbatim that score the complexities, revealing and revering their truths within.

Esotericism exacerbates particular problems as much as it does further certain talents. A given talent in a man can very quickly be heightened or made known, whilst a deficiency will gravely worsen, indicating that there is much to address within the physical life without proceeding any further upon the theoretical, magical conceptualisation. In the instance of a student who has not the coherent connections with words which are of his own, he has the possibility of deteriorating into a condition where he will forsake intelligence for babble, conversation for grandstanding and reality for memory-dwelling review.

Language is an outward vehicle to the ego, bearing a significance not only in the present but also in its future use, as it shall manifest the imaginative directives of all men one day and verily they shall see their thoughts materialize right before them!

Me, Myself & I- 9

Horticulture
teaches us the opulence of fertility and reproduction. The etheric world throbs with a passionate and virile life. One can come to this life element amongst the very mechanics and orchestrations which comprise the whole ecology of life. There amongst the structures and the sub-structures and the super-structures and their superior-structures, is a whole enterprise which is having fun!

There is a natural joy amongst life which can be directly experienced out in the countryside. The peacefulness resounds within us, the colors are pleasing and so forth, however it is the abundant glee which emanates out from all of the growing, scent emitting, tendrilly, furrily, openly, burgeoning plant life which tells us that the leaves and the wind and the sun and the sky and the beings all throughout are having a rather fine time. Life is good!

So we may contemplate the bringing into this world of yet further life and so rejoice. The Horticulturalist knows life in its voracity and virulence. He has met with the Trinity in its unaffected and most wild happiness.

For the student who has not this element of understanding there is a compulsion to order, to cold divisioning and to decisiveness such is choleric, yet overly so - the very profile of the ahrimanic contender, who has forsook their natural joy for a seriousness that will consume them if their natural world does not return within them.

The gift of Horticulture is of a happy disposition amongst almost all of life’s conditions, not at the expense of rationality, but alongside the gravel and the tar.

Let us look then to the Trinity in relation to this matter:

This table (above) is not intended for diagnostic purposes - it is moreover an indication of the physical condition primarily and how it can be affected or afflicted by given influences. Second-guessing the spiritual causes to any condition within the physical is far more involved than any one table could explain, let alone from just one criterion understood, therefore this is just to be taken as is - and be noted duly as simply pertaining to the physical body itself rather than its occupant within.

Me, Myself & I- 8

Physics within the world explores the esoteric workings of the material world, and when applied to occult study it is a science but not an understanding. The mathematical element when combined with occult science becomes disabled to a great extent, for a study of occultism brings with it, into the consciousness and into the life itself, many contesters to propriety.

Occult examination does not of itself denote discriminatory reasoning. It is a hazardous area of inquiry because in its blatant form it speaks of powers and happenings which may awaken also similar desires within the man. As a science it stands apart from us, but not we to it.
Everything a man thinks upon works within and about him ... when we do attempt to comprehend magic and the super-real, the supernatural, and the forces within; when we conjure an elemental being into our assistance, we are attempting to invoke other planes of being and awaken them.

This in itself is destabilizing and quite terrorizing to many facets of your makeover. In other words, this is a caution: that with occultism for occultism’s sake one may endeavor to get into the temple by breaking through the door before you - you may succeed as far as the antechamber, but shall not, by that method, penetrate the inner mysteries. All of nature is veiled; and the illusion of physics is that one has comprehended the being simply by perceiving its constitution (in part).

The gift of Physics as a conjunct to other study elements developed within the student is the practical law of transfiguration and transmutation.

Engineering in this context relates to the useful application of the esoteric know-how made manifest within the physical world to useful purpose. It combines creativity with practicality, and teaches the student of such striving and practice which is for the universal good.

When a comprehension of engineering is reliably achieved there also develops within the student the element of co-creatorship of the worldly scheme. Here is a sense realized into fact - with all of the satisfaction of a demigod to watch thought materialize and do well ....

Confidence, the ability to plan and execute such plans, forward thinking (with the freedoms that rest upon such projections), intelligence and good-humoured wit - these are the qualities invoked by this leaning.

Were a student deficient in this area he should have difficulty assuming concepts later on in his development. There can be a mind-fault which because it is not enstrengthened from the early thinking (esoterically correct with this attribute) gives way and becomes incapable of sustaining the concept for any length of time.

When the esoteric concepts are not executed into helpful actualities within this world then the forces have not the proper means into the etheric to thoroughly saturate and protect the constitution from the very damage they will cause if merely contained.

This is not to say that esoterica is to be imparted on its own level to those who are ill-prepared, but rather that we are to make practical that which we learn in some fashion which expresses our learning to the benefit of others.

Me, Myself & I- 7

The study and comprehension of Esoteric Economy brings us ecology, harmony and wholeness. Economies require organic transactions which imply a mutuality as well as a difference. The understanding of economics brings us to the very dynamic of exchange, where we are taught of the conjunctures of being and of that which may flow on in new life or experience into another and then receive back in transformation.

The student here shall learn the subtleties of speech, of rapportive thinking, of tact and manner, of communication throughout (eventually with other beings of nature and beyond). For by the observance of exchange and transactive interplays the individual begins his sensitivity in relation to all around him. The gift of this economic conceptualization and study is one of harmonizing.

The Arts corrupt the commonplace world in the sense of their futuristic impulses. Although the word ‘corrupt’ implicates them badly, it is not meant in the degenerative sense but moreover in that it sloughs away that which is concealing the new.

It is via the imaginative forces in which the as yet unreceived impulses of Christ Himself shall find entrance into this World, for example. Although the older forms of clairvoyance are also experienced in Man through use of the imaginative forces, we find the distinction here to be that of the Arts. The past in its repetitive score may be beautiful in aspect and introduce us to levels of spiritual understanding which are remote from the material regions, however the vital and pivotal change-makers which go beyond just repetition are apparent in the manifestation of work which has been newly realised and inspired afresh.

The Arts when explored, give the student an ability to come to a remarkableness of both the world and of his own. Converse to this he is also adopting a position of humility, for he well senses the special attributes which the studies he makes have outside of his own self in form and in being.

As a vessel of inspiration the student becomes as a priest to Creation, his communion is holy because he reveres the spirit of Father God in that which he perceives and tries to capture within the medium that he speaks through. He becomes a lover to the spiritual worlds, co-uniting and producing the offspring of future thought.

The inartistic suffer materialism in the world and esoterically they shall promote the old clairvoyance in preference to understanding the future ages of men to come. The inartistic shall maintain the old ritual perceptions and beings, rather than receive Christ into themselves.

Art in its most perfect state is Love made manifest.

Me, Myself & I- 6

The Esoteric Sciences maybe equally attributed to the twelve categories above and given the respective aspects noted. The characteristic qualities which are promoted within these worldly studies are applicable to the student of spiritual science just so. We may review them in relation to the occult perspective:

Philosophy in Occultism is as practical as it is profound. The proper study of such promotes objectivity, fair-mindedness and the ability to reason well, both imaginatively and plainly. It requires an individual who has the suppleness within his etheric makeover to take on the concepts which would ordinarily become ‘frozen out’ with intellectual forces (crystalline forces) within the usual thinking.

The position of the philosophical thinker predisposes him to having an ‘open mind’ insofar as his time for consideration, and also the ability to begin at the presumption of ignorance in a particular matter. He does not do the thinking to necessarily arrive at a hardened truth, admitting that indeed there might not be one to know at this point (yet independently evident regardless); however, he is prepared to explore new thought and watch the manoeuvres, enjoying its grace and admiring its beauty.

Madness is philosophy which has nowhere to go within the man. Philosophy in its highest condition becomes enlightened reason.

Mathematical Occult Study & Application as an observation of space and continuum, of form and its sequential compulsions, explains to the student the nature of order and of its prevalence within any sphere or region.

A respect and understanding for order (and therefore for the higher laws which permeate all structure also) brings us to a heightened sense of not only accuracy, but of beauty.

Formulations may be interpreted in differing modes of expression and yet translate into beauteous bodies belonging to being. The metamorphosis which is gradience, speaks to the soul of its own continuing saga, and reassures the thinking that there is completion and perfection to be found amongst all being everywhere.

When folk decry perfection or beauty in existence, it is because of a lacking in mathematical conception in the esoteric comprehension. When developed fully in the student, Mathematics becomes self-discipline, it works into the forces of the will and conveys itself further on, being enlivened by the supportive nature and subsistence which all cosmic laws uphold and maintain. It gives over to a sense of both correctness, and of majesty within all manifestation.

Me, Myself & I- 5

Returning to the topic of self and selfishness: we can also establish now that regardless of whether one actually enjoys their life or is enmeshed in the trials of a seasoning karmic repercussion, we are nonetheless effectively serving the self’s best interests day-to-day and in future outcome, that the worldly mix, from the self’s point of view, is viewed from the self firstly and that such ‘self-isness’ is therefore a given.

This is a system which works well because collectively the host of individuals are brought to an empathetic respect of one another via this egoic pathway to learning. It is a healthy selfhood for each, because by caring and enhancing one individual the family of Man is also so furthered. (‘The family’ denotes the associate kingdoms as well.)

Amongst the very tidy aspects of this karmic procession from which Humanity derives its learnings are the more subtle aspects which may or may not become realized within the individual.

They who have developed some further qualities in this regard may be known as the sensitives and the marginalists.

Firstly we may look at the subject studies within the world and what they may offer us:

Philosophy gives us the gymnastic flexibility of theory.

Mathematics gives us the meridian recipes for structure and sound.

Economics can teach us the confluence and affluence of universal exchange.

The Arts bring us the dialectic passages into the imaginative spheres of plain reality.

Physics offers the magician his magic, whilst

Engineering offers its magic made visible to the world.

Horticulture teaches us of the indefinable mysteries of copulation (the true meaning of getting dirty).

Anachronistic language still holds keys of veritable meaning specific and made rare to its source first born in; whilst the study of modern-speak explains the angst and future of the mind.

Medicine explains Christ as He Lives within the Etheric World.

The Therapies teach us to coax and cajole, encourage and cooperate with the impossible.
Religious Studies bring the saints to our assistance and the exalted passions to our understanding.

Astronomy teaches us absolutely nothing we may depend upon (it is a blindfold science incapable at present of making effective assumptions given its subject).

Me, Myself & I- 4

Love bears no karma. No recall. No saving qualities. If we love well it does not by automatic law, return to us. Neither is it fettered or compelled in us to give. This is one of the most wonderful aspects of Love.

This is high teaching, little understood or taught about, and a mystery which overpasses the parameters of ego. To say that Love has no karmic action attached to it and just is what it is, refutes all reasoning and intent. It is the highest experience we can give and share, and it shall qualify and fulfill the lover in the very moment that they experience that loving, but it will not go any further to command such love to come again. In other words its consequence to become realized is in the living moment and no other.

Now, everything else which is actionable within our daily sphere of being does have a karmic redress. Therefore we may assume that one way or another a man will make good that which he does in any given life. He shall grow to learn the consequences of his deeds and thus be egoicly fulfilled. It takes care of itself - experience will teach with a strong coercion, which is effectively in the best interests of that individual.

One’s own personal karma is instigated internally rather than by external, causal means. Although actions in the world and karmic recall imply that it is an outer process belonging to exterial and exoteric law, it is in point of fact negotiated and commenced inwardly.

Karmic experience is a kindness in that it answers all needs in individuals, needs proven to exist by their conduct and their inexperience. An inept sympathetic nerve requires attunement, and it is by the dictates of the compelling laws within a man that he will be brought to the circumstances most advantageous to his learning. Laws without his being cannot know this and permissibly take advantage.

Every movement of life - within the thought-world or manifest in the actual - entitles Karma. Yet Love itself does not. There may be expressions of this Love which invoke some kind of karmic recall, however, the Love itself is not refundable.

What this means to say is that as students who acknowledge this truth we may go out into the world with the purest of motives when we are loving best ... sincerely understanding that this alone (when heartfelt and actual) is for the sake of its own sake within the moment, and that we are given no investiture because of it.
And so we may love unselfishly.
